DUNMOR – Robert Carl Saddler, 87, of Dunmor, died Wednesday, July 29, 2026 at 7:04PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Mr. Saddler was born in Cleaton on December 8, 1938. He was a Retired Coal Miner and a member of Browder General Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for over 50 years. When he wasn’t working or at church, he enjoyed fishing, watching Westerns, cooking, working in the garage, and wood-working. He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Sadler; mother, Mossie Long; brothers, Ellis Lewis Sadler, Cecil Sadler, Jr., Ray Sadler, Bennie Sadler, and Roger Dale Sadler; and granddaughter, Brandie West.

He is survived by his wife, Ramona Allen Saddler; four children, Donnie (Teresa) Saddler, Barbara Hunt, Kelli May, and Carla (Jason) Abney; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and half-sister, Sharon Kay Hardison.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 3, 2026 at 2PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Carroll officiating, assisted by Bro. Danny Travis. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
