John Mooningham left a message on January 8, 2011:
I remember Bob from the days he and Wanda were members of Powderly Baptist Church more than fifty years ago. In 1965, I left Kentucky to attend graduate school at the University of South Carolina and then at Texas Tech University. Since that time, I have been in Kentucky for relatively short visits. Bob was a fine man and a good role model. I will always have fond memories of his kind manner which seemed to flow from a fountain of inner strength. John Mooningham

Mr. Brooks was a special husband, Father and friend. I think he and Mrs. Brooks always gave and will give people hope of what a marriage is suppose to be about. I saw the glow in their eyes when they spoke to each other. They built their life on a christian foundation always. Keep the precious memories in your hearts forever. Love you, Jan G.

I worked with Robbie Jon a lot in 2015, 2016 and part of 2017 in Milwaukee, WI as consultants. We worked a lot, but also had a lot of fun together during our time off. We went to baseball games, concerts, and how he loved the crab legs at Potawatomie Casino. Even though I only knew him during this short time, I learned how he loved life and his family. He will be missed. Condolences to Lori, Jon and family.

Robby Jon and I grew up together. Our parents rented an apartment in the same building, so Wanda and my mother Jean took turns watching after us. We had a great time growing up together. We had lost touch over the years, but did talk a few times and meet at a rest stop just to see each other once. He will be missed. I tlaked with Scott this morning adn he has a story about RJ and me when we were very young.
