POWDERLY- Ricky Welborn, 63, of Powderly died Friday May 3, 2019 at 10:54AM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Mr. Welborn was born January 28, 1956, in Muhlenberg County. He was a Self-Employed Car Dealer. He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Welborn, and his sister Lisa Welborn Hayes. He is survived by his wife Shannon Slinker Welborn; Daughters Christy McClain, and Melissa Welborn Strode; Son Andrew Welborn; Step-Son Jason Pendley; 4 granddaughters; 1 great-grandson; father Wendell Welborn; Brother Dale Welborn; and sister Angela Stovall. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 5, 2019 at 12 Noon at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Curtis McGehee officiating and Rev. Troy Slinker assisting. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Powderly. Visitation will be Sunday after 9AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhome.com
