CENTRAL CITY- Ricky DeWayne Simms 61, of Central City died July 4. 2020 at his residence. Mr. Simms was born March 14, 1959 in Muhlenberg County. He was a sandblaster and painter for Pittsburgh Tank and Tower and a member of New Life Church in Powderly. He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Simms and his parents Billy Joe and Delma Lee Simms. Survivors include his children Vickie(Keith)Morgan, Ricky(Sara)Simms Jr. and Susan(Jason)Reiber, grandchildren, Samantha(Kenny)Shelton, Jacob Reiber, Brianna Morgan, Trevor Morgan, and Madison Reiber, great-grandchild Kenlee Shelton, brothers, Tony(Lynn)Simms and Terry(Brenda)Simms and a sister Shelia Groves. Funeral services will be Wednesday July 08, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Rev Wayne Rice officiating and assited by Kevin Rice with burial in Lee Hill Cemetery in Depoy. Visitation will be Wednesday after 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In compliance with health and public safety directives, capacity will be limited in accordance with state guidelines.
