HENDERSON- Richard Eugene Hardison, 79, of Henderson died Friday, September 27, 2024 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital. Mr. Hardison was born in Muhlenberg County on January 24, 1945. He was a laborer at Alcoa Aluminum and a veteran of the US Army where he served in Vietnam. Mr. Hardison enjoyed working on cars, race cars, Nascar, he had his private pilot license, loved flying, photography, animals, adventure, and he was a prankster. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Dimple Hardison; brothers, Milton Hardison, Shelton Hardison.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hardison; children, Kevin Hardison, Suzanne (Jeremy) Matthews; step children, Troy White, Kevin (Danielle) White; grandchildren, Ethan White, Nolan White; sister, Rita Rouse.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Greg Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Union Chapel Cemetery.
