GREENVILLE- Rena L. Loy, 86, of Greenville, went to her heavenly home on June 10, 2019. She was retired from Muhlenberg County Board of Education/Longest Elementary. She loved gardening and fishing. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Leetha and Jim Lineback; father Restless Hasty; companion, Larry Casey; son, Sammy Loy III and son-in-laws, Alfie Smith and Larry W. Davis. Survivors include her daughters, Paula Davis, Sheri (Jeff) Clark, and Lisa Ann Smith; son’s companion, Tammy Outlaw; grandsons, Ryan (Crystal) Clark, Jeremiah Loy and Will Williams; granddaughters Alice Loy, Kenda Williams and Ashley Loy; sister Helen Maxson; nephew Jeff Stafford; niece Colleen Mixon; several great grandchildren, great nieces and great nephew. The family would like to express their appreciation for the compassionate care given their loved one for the past three years by the OHMCH Long Term Care staff, and to thank all of her loyal friends for their regular visits, including special friend Gale Fulkerson. Funeral services will be Friday, at 2pm at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Brother Joe Chambers officiating. Visitation will be Friday after 11am at the funeral home. Burial is private.
