Becky was my step mother and came into my life when I was 7. They lived in California at the time and were on a bowling league. Well, it was a Saturday night in Southern California and the bowling lanes were PACKED! Of course, her lane was the lane against the wall furthest from any assistance when the scoreboard broke. Try as we might, we couldn't get anyone's attention to help us. Becky belts out, "Hooowwwdddyyy! Just as proud to be here!" in Minnie Pearl fashion. The entire place fell silent. Then spontaneously burst out with laughter. She got the scoreboard fixed. :)
Another memory of Becky is back in the early 80's or late 70's, Becky got kicked out of Caesar's Palace here in Las Vegas for going into the casino in a full gorilla costume on Halloween. (This is not allowered....even on Halloween). :)
Becky taught me SO many things and was such a vital part of my growing up. We would laugh for hours. She was great. My mother and her were like sisters and as my mother would say, she will always be a whisper away.
I loved Becky deeply and I am grateful she came into my life.5dRA7
