Ray, or "Uncle Ray",as my sister and I called him, was a such a special man. He always had a smile for us, a joke, and a big hug and kiss on the cheek, every time we saw him. He turned what would normally be an unnerving experience for a kid, going to the doctor, into something we would get excited about. Ray was our doctor throughout our lives, and he was more than a doctor to us. He was there, to help, however he could, with whatever we were going through, and tried to help me when i was going through some of my worst. I can't count the times that his big bear hug was literally the best medicine I could've gotten. His laugh was contagious, and would literally make one feel better, just hearing it. We loved you Uncle Ray, and I am grateful to have had you as part of my life. Even if you laughed at me every time Grandmother would have to chase me with the needle, to give me a shot in the hip. You are already greatly missed.

Ray Man (as I called him) and I have been friends for over 35 years. He was a hunting "buddy" and a fishing "partner". I wish I had a dollar for every fish we caught together. He always told me when we would be working on a project that "I was thinking too much". He was right, he said said keep it simple. He always made me laugh about something. I thank God for the many memories I will always have until I see him in Heaven some day. You will be sadly missed. Robert
