I have millions of memories of my oldest brother. The very first memory I have of anything at all was of him. He was standing in the livingroom with a suitcase in his hand -just a little boy. He was in trouble and our parents were threatening to take him to Cary Home -just a ploy. Throughout the years he's always been somewhere on the outskirts of my life. I'll miss his phone calls and our jaunts out to yard sales and auctions or just shopping in general. . I'll miss everything about him. He'll forever be in my heart.

There was no one in the world like Uncle Jr. He was definitely one of a kind. He will be missed by so many and especially grandma. Uncle Jr. never liked to say good bye so I won't this time either.....but I will forever keep him in my heart.

Jr was my oldest brother. He chose a different path in life than me but I always respected and loved him. His path was the hardest and finally overcame him. I pray that his rest now is peaceful and comforted by the arms of God. Sleep well my brother, I'll be along soon .

Uncle Ralph taught me to swim...........................by tossing me into the Wildcat Creek, under the Dayton, Indiana Bridge, on Indiana SR38 in 1950 or 1951. The water was cold and seemed 10 feet deep, although it was only 5 feet or so.

Some of my favorite memories in life were my visits to Kentucky to see Great-Grandmother Ethel and Papa Ralph. He always had the best stories, most of them fabricated and polished after years of telling them. He always had words of wisdom and an opinion. I was blessed/cursed with his soft spot for animals. Everyone who met him liked him instantly. He was truly one in a million and will be greatly missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

He was a wonderful grandpa. He always had a smile and a funny story to tell. I will always remember him sitting at the kitchen table telling stories and waiting on grandma to get him (and one of his dogs under the table) something to eat. Last time I was there I discovered he and I share a love of doing crossword puzzles every morning. His loss will leave a big empty spot at the table but not in our hearts.
