SACRAMENTO – Porter Bibb, 95, of Sacramento, died Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Riverside Manor Nursing Home in Calhoun. He was born July 2, 1917, was an assembly worker for Ford Motor Company in Sharonville, OH., and was a member of the Station Baptist Church in Sacramento for 25 years. He is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Bibb & son, Earl Porter Bibb. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Joyce(Ronald)Patterson of Loveland, OH. & Lila Carolyn Fowler of Westchester, OH., grandchildren, Beckie Walker, Byron Frasier, William Michael Patterson, Cale Bibb and Paul Bibb. Several great grandsons, nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 21, 2012 at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, conducted by Rev. Clifford Lovell with burial to follow in the Station Baptist Cemetery in Sacramento. Visitation will be after 12:00 Noon at the funeral home. Hi Joyce & Carolyn, So sorry to hear about your dad,,, my "Uncle Porter",,, passing away. I wouldn't have known about it if Joe Riley,, on FaceBook,, had not sent me a message. It's a shame that somehow we as a family at Station Baptist and Sacramento have lost touch. I wish we could all get together somehow. I am going to try to get to the next high school reunion.
