Phillip Von O’Neal Published: Saturday, June 13, 2009 12:01 AM CDT BREMEN — Phillip Von O’Neal, 62, of 282 Shaver Drive, Bremen, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville. He was born Dec. 14, 1946, in Bates County, Mo. He retired from the coal industry and was a member of Church Street General Baptist Church. He served three terms as magistrate for District 5 in Muhlenberg County and was an Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Miller. Survivors include his wife, Pat Davis O’Neal of Bremen; a son, Brian (Laura) O’Neal of Bremen; a daughter, Kelly (Rodney) Nace of Bandana; grandchildren Molly Nace and Sydney Nace; his mother, Dorothy Miller of Greenville; a sister, Becky Baugh of Greenville; his father-in-law, Elbert Davis of Paducah; nephews Kevin Baugh and A.K. Baugh; a niece, Sara Sparks; a great-niece, Addie Sparks; and a great-nephew, Dylan Baugh. Services are at 3 p.m. Sunday at Church Street General Baptist Church, with the Rev. Danny Greene officiating, assisted by the Rev. J.W. Haire. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in Bremen.
