GREENVILLE – Paula Luan Hale Caldwell, 58, of Greenville, died Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 7:40PM at her home. Mrs. Caldwell was born January 16, 1956, in the middle of a large snow. She was of the Cumberland Presbyterian faith and a long-time member of the Mt. Carmel C.P. Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carol Skaggs and James “Big Jim” Hale; maternal grandparents Jo and Lonnie Skaggs; and paternal grandparents Hubert and Louise Hale. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Darren Steele; her granddaughter, Payton Caldwell, who was her star on top of the Christmas tree; brother Michael Hale; sisters Jennifer Burch, Leslie Roach, and Lori Huff; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014, at 5:00PM at Mt. Carmel C.P. Church in White Plains, with Rev. John Shoulta officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 3-5PM at the church. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
