Paul Dwayne Sherman

Millport- Paul Sherman Sr., 57, gained his wings on November 05, 2020. He was born on May 27, 1963 to Roland “Rudy” and Nell Pauline Sherman. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 35 years Nellie Sherman, he was also greeted in heaven by his brother Larry Sherman and sister Loretta Stillwell. Mr. Sherman worked as a timber cutter. Left behind is one son, Paul (Candace) Sherman and two daughters Jennie Sherman and Tabitha (Austin) Amos along with one step-daughter Dana (Arthur) Ryan. He also leaves his loving grandchildren Justin Crunk, Hallie Garrett, Madison Garrett, Samuel Garrett, Keira Sherman, Jaluh Sherman, Hayden Sherman, Tegan Amos and Da’Marieah Childs. Other survivors include five sisters, Carolyn Whitaker, Cynthia Salmon, Patricia Sherman, Becky Tracy and Betty Cavanaugh, and two brothers Kenny and Charles Sherman, among many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Tuesday November 10, 2020 at 12:00 at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Larry Phaup officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains. Visitation will be Tuesday after 9:30AM at the funeral home.Family and friends who are attending the visitation or funeral service are asked to wear a face mask for the safety of all those in attendance, in accordance with the governor’s mandate.
