SOUTH CARROLLTON – Patricia “Patty” Jo Hancock, 68, of South Carrollton, went to be with her Heavenly Father, on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 5:28AM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital in Owensboro. Patty was born in Muhlenberg County on April 1, 1957 to Nancy and Clayton “Buster” Epley. She was a graduate of Bremen High School. Patty worked for the Muhlenberg County Water Department for 27 years where she later retired. Patty enjoyed porch sitting with her friends and loved spending time with her family. Anytime she was able, she wanted to spend it with her grandsons. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Nancy, and Clayton “Buster” Epley; brothers, Jeff Stewart, and Jerry Epley; and sister-in-law, Melissa Epley.

Lovingly remembered by her son, Shane (Cassy) Epley; daughter, Alana Hancock; grandsons, Ryder, and Ridge Epley; sisters, Sandy (Joe) Herman, and Tina (Jeff) McRoy; brothers, Lindel Epley, Ricky (Freda) Epley, Jimmy Epley, and Johnny Epley. She also had several nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.

Funeral services will be Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 12PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Greg Brooks officiating. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Saturday from 10AM-12PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
