GREENVILLE – Patricia Dean Smiley, 79, of Greenville, died Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 12:20AM at Signature Healthcare in Hartford.  Mrs. Smiley was born June 7, 1946, in Muhlenberg County.  She worked for Aleris Steel Mill and was a member of East Union Baptist Church.  Her faith in God was strong.  She enjoyed crafts, and watching the Golden Girls and game shows.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Smiley; parents, Everett and Verda Jameson; brother, Freddie Jameson; and sister, Barbara Smiley.

She is survived by her daughters, Lisa DeAnn Cox of Owensboro and Amber DeLynn Smiley of Centertown; sister, Kathy Chambers; grandchildren, Brandon Smiley, Chelsie (Justin) Miller, Hunter Fulkerson, Benjamin Fulkerson, John Patrick Fulkerson, and Weston Stenberg; nephew, Steven Wayne Smiley; great-grandchildren, Maelynn Johnson, Tessalyn Smiley, Kaia Smiley, Bryson Miller, Adalyn Miller, and JT Miller; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Bro. Joe Chambers officiating.  Burial in New Bethel Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00AM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
