HENDERSON – Nova Grace Powell, age 7 days, of Henderson, died Monday, November 11, 2024, at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville.  Nova was born November 4, 2024, in Henderson.  She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Lisa James.

Nova is survived by her parents, Skylar Powell and Katie Johnson; sibling, Cainen Ashby; paternal grandfather, Dale Powell; maternal grandmother, Mary Phelps; maternal grandfather, Leo Johnson; aunts, Alyssa Powell, Marcia Powell, and Evon Johnson; and uncle, Kevin Johnson.

Funeral services will be Friday, November 15, 2024, at 11:00AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with David Anderson officiating.  Visitation will be Friday after 9:00AM at the funeral home.  Burial is private.  Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Nova Powell Memorial Fund, c/o Tucker Funeral Home, P.O.
