The Rev. Norman Bartley Hearld CENTRAL CITY — The Rev. Norman Bartley Hearld, 84, of Central City died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 27, 2009, at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was born in Muhlenberg County and was a retired Southern Baptist minister and member of Central Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reva Nell Hearld; and a grandson, Roger Hearld Jr. Survivors include a son, Roger (Joann) Hearld of Hendersonville; a daughter, Norma (Danny) Teague of Louisville; three grandchildren, Kimberly Bailey, Bethany Davis and Sarah Hearld; a grandson, Seth Hearld; and a brother, Connis Hearld of Central City. Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Lyndal Peyton officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
