BEECH CREEK – Norman Clay Fleming, 73, of Beech Creek, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at 2:37PM at Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Fleming was born July 1, 1940. He was a truck driver and loved to fish. He enjoyed playing basketball, working on old cars and racing, and once bowled a 300-game. He was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Bill Fleming; mother Novella Cartwright Fleming; brother Daris Ray Fleming; and sister Lottie Smart. Survivors include his wife, Jannie Fleming; sons Norman “Dink” (Jessica) Fleming, Jr. of Beechmont, Joe Fleming of Beech Creek, Kurt Fleming of Beech Creek, and Charles “Mush” (Kathy) Fleming of Central City; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; brother William (Sue) Fleming; and sister Lequida Westerfield. Funeral services will be Friday, June 13, 2014 at 11:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Leroy Rearden officiating. Visitation will be Friday after 9:00AM at the funeral home.
