Central City – Norman Allen Brock, 71, of Central City, died Saturday, September 5, 2026 at 1:41a.m. at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Mr. Brock was born September 3, 1954, in Chicago, Illinois. He was a coal miner for Armstrong Coal and he was a member of the New Life Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna J. Brock; his parents, Norman Dale Brock, and Joyce Rice Hancock; his Step-father, Donald Hancock; and his brother, Grant Brock.
He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (Nathaniel) Deason, and Chastity (Robert Hale) Brock; his grandchildren, Spencer (Caitlynn Divine) Thomas, Payton Deason, Kinley Deason, Rebecca Chaney, and Brandon Chaney; and his great-grandchildren, River Thomas, and Joseph Smith.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 12:00p.m. at New Life Church Cemetery in Powderly, with Bro. Kevin Rice and Bro. Charlie Browning officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. at New Life Church. In lieu of flowers family ask that contributions be made to the Norman Allen Brock Memorial Fund envelopes will be available at the Church.
