BEECHMONT – Norma Jean Farber, 89, of Drakesboro, went to be with her Heavenly Father on May 19, 2019 at Ridgewood Terrace Health and Rehab Center in Madisonville, Ky. Mrs. Farber was born March 22, 1930, in Muhlenberg County. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a homemaker and operated her garden center that she loved which would bring people from miles around for her beautiful flowers and her friendly smile. She loved gospel music and always had a song in her heart and on her lips. She was a faithful member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Modell Garrett; and sisters Margaret McGehee and Myrtle Tucker. Survivors include her husband (William) of 67 years, six children: Richard ( Peggy) of Louisville, Ky; Mark (Pam) of Providence, Ky; Pat (Danny) of Greenville, Ky; Floyd (Tonya) of Browder, Ky; Charleston (Carol) of Evansville, IN; Sharon (Dana) of Beechmont, Ky, and a sister Mae Heltsley of Beechmont, Ky. She had 8 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren whom she adored. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at 10:00AM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Charleston Farber and Curtis McGehee officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery.
