I was saddened by the message that Nora (Doodle) Doss has gone to be with her Lord God and Charles and her son. I have known her for many years as a good, kind, and caring individual. I was her sister-in-law being married to Cecil Doss, Charles brother. When I first met her, she was one individual that was very kind to a young girl that came from a state many miles away. In the last few years we have kept in touch over the phone. We enjoyed many an hour talking, her telling me about her life and family. I will miss those talks until we meet again. She was 88years young and I am 85 years young so that meeting will likely be in the not too distance future. My thoughts and prayers to out to her children and grand children.

So sorry to hear of Nora's passing. My Dad, Reavel Mercer was of friend of hers and Charles . They would tell stories about me being a baby and the girls holding me. I would come to their house with Mom, Jean Mercer and Dad when I was little. She was always so sweet to us. Thoughts and prayers are with you
