SACRAMENTO – Nicholas Sean Whitmer, 46, of Sacramento, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at St. Vincent Evansville in Evansville, IN. Mr. Whitmer was born July 25, 1972, in McLean County. He was a tax preparer for the IRS, and attended Church of God of Prophecy in Island. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Whitmer; and grandparents Hobert J. and Margaret Whitmer, and Boyd and Evaline Willis. He is survived by his wife, Janis Dever Whitmer; son Skylor Whitmer; daughter Kelsey Whitmer; parents Hobert and Betty Whitmer; brother Keith Whitmer; sister Stacy Littlepage; step-brother Jeff Harper and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 22, 2018, at 2:00PM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Carolyn Erwin officiating. Burial in Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Sacramento.
