GREENVILLE – Nancy Carol Vick Cornelius, age 92, died Friday, April 5, 2024 at her residence in Greenville. Nancy was born on March 28, 1932 in Muhlenberg County and worked at General Electric in Owensboro and was a member of New Cypress Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin “Mack” Cornelius; parents, Loran and Flossie Vick; brother, Douglas Vick and great-grandson, Oakland Cornelius.

She is survived by her son, Bruce (Wanda) Cornelius and daughter, Regina Bowers, both of Greenville; four grandchildren, Annessa (Troy) Crick, Justin Bowers; Seth (Hannah) Cornelius, Jacob (Mikayla) Cornelius; eight great-grandchildren, Adalyn Bowers, Sarah (Aaron) Tooley, Jamie Crick, Coleson Cornelius, Abigail Cornelius, Loralie Cornelius, Rian Cornelius, Reese Cornelius; brother, Drexel Vick of Greenville; sisters, Faye “Tootsie” Robinson and Martha Sue Oates, both of Greenville.

Funeral service will be Monday, April 8, 2024 at 11:00 am at Tucker Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Cypress Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Drury will officiate.
