CENTRAL CITY — Mildred McCulloch, 90, of 134 Fairway Drive, Central City, died Nov. 9, 2010, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born May 13, 1920, in Muhlenberg County, was a homemaker and was a member of First Baptist Church in Central City. She loved going to church and taking walks when her health still allowed her to. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert McCulloch, and a son, Bob Harper. Survivors include a daughter, Mary (Richard) Shaver of Central City; four sons, Marvin (Karen) Harper of Chicago, Doug (Sally) Williams of Glen Ellyn, Ill., and William Williams and John Harper, both of Central City; a sister, Margaret Jones of Central City; five grandchildren, Carina Freeman, Danielle Shaver, Rebecca Williams, Meagan Williams and Steven Harper; and a great-grandson, Braxton Drake. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. Bob Lowery officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
