CROFTON – Mildred Lavern Scott, 91, of Crofton, died Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 3:25AM at Hearthstone Place in Elkton, KY. Ms. Scott was born April 18, 1934, in Bevier, KY. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and worked for Emerson Electric. She was also a Housekeeping Supervisor at Regional Medical Center for ten years, and worked at Crofton Restaurant as a cook. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, canning, and gardening in her spare time. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Scott; grandchildren, Samantha Miller, Carl Hunt; daughters, Wanda Brooks, and Lynn Staggs; and son, Steven Scott.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Dexter, and Dianne Hunt; siblings, Ann Bowen, and Garland Lee Piper; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 32 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at 1PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Darrel Russell officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11AM-1PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
