CENTRAL CITY – Mildred Ethel Jackson, 86, of Central City, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 12:15AM at Belle Meade Nursing Home. Mrs. Jackson was born July 9, 1926 in Davisville, Missouri. She made windshield wipers at an auto plant, and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Riley Turnbough and Carra Coleman Turnbough; and grandson Tommy Hyatt. Survivors include her husband, Albert Jackson; sons Charles (Olivia) Swyers of Indiana, Michael Swyers of Florida, Dale (Tina) Jackson of Indiana, Jerry (Vicki) Jackson of Kentucky, and Tommie Jackson of Kentucky; daughters Charlene (Delmar) Hyatt of Florida and Debbie (James) Johnson of Alabama; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Ray Turnbough of Florida. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 2:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Greg Brooks officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
