Although I never got the chance to meet Mike, I have heard nothing but what a hard working and caring man you were. Colten looked up to you so much and I know he will always cherish the memories he got to spend with you. Every time Colten would tell me stories about all the adventures you guys had together, and all of the things you’ve taught him he couldn’t help but smile. I wish I had gotten to meet the man who raised such a caring son, and I know he will make you proud and carry on your memory. May you rest peacefully

So sorry for your loss. I lived next door to his grandparents ( Red and Jewell Nelson) growing up and he was always a great person to be around. Always smiling and always friendly. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

I don't know where to begin. I have been robbed of a dear friend that I will never be able to replace. You helped me threw so much and never asked for anything in return. I wish so badly for just 5 more minutes with you to to hug you and tell u how thankful I was our paths crossed. His obituary did not do him justice. Mike was a hell of a mechanic he could work on ANYTHING. He was also a amazing welder could do any kind of welding on anything in any condition. How he loved his boys his eyes always lit up at the mention of Colton or Kyle. And he always had a friendly hand and ear for anybody in need. Empathetic to a fault. Generous to a fault. He was a real gentleman. I wish so badly to be able to come pay my.respects as he was like family to me. They might not allow me to do that but they can't steal the 12 years of memories I'll have. I love you Mikey! I'll be looking for you in the night sky among the stars.
