SACRAMENTO – Michael Lee Thaxton, 75, of Sacramento, died Thursday, July 9, 2026 at 2:35AM at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville. Mr. Thaxton was born on December 15, 1950. He loved spending time with his wife, Debbie. He enjoyed raising cattle, and hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his wife, Debbie Rust Thaxton; and brother, Donnie Thaxton.

He is survived by his son, Jason Thaxton; sisters, Sherry and Debbie; and brother, Mark.
