DRAKESBORO – Michael “Mike” Eugene Holpp, 71, of Drakesboro, died Monday, August 4, 2025 at 1:57PM at his residence. Mr. Holpp was born in Tell City, IN on August 5, 1953 to Fredrick and Eva Holpp. He was a member of Mercer Missionary Baptist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran. Mike enjoyed spending his time working on vehicles specifically older models and bodywork. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, and old western movies and loved being outdoors. Mike found joy in joking around with his grandchildren and loving on his great grandchildren. Mike served his community in many ways such as joining the army prior to his accident and serving at Calvert Baptist food bank and serving food at Grace United Baptist church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick, and Eva Holpp; and brother, Charlie Holpp.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Maureen Holpp; daughter, Selena Brooks (Cody); step-children, Brandy Knight (Joey), Dean O’Reilly, and Don O’Reilly (Sheena); grandchildren, Gavian O’Reilly, Teara O’Reilly, Trey O’Reilly, Hailey Goatee (Sampson), Autumn Yarbrough (Kale), Brayden Brooks, Brinlee Brooks, Remington Brooks, Alexia Lehman (Mackenzie); and great-grandchildren, Bentley Baten, Nathaniel Baten, Immanuel Adkins, Marilyn Goatee, Mason Goatee, Gatlin Yarbrough, Kayden Shoemaker; and siblings, Fredrick Holpp, and Madalyn Holpp.
