Maudie Nadine Ellis Greathouse 10/7/2008 SACRAMENTO — Maudie Nadine Ellis Greathouse, 100, of West 5th St., Sacramento, died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at Ridgewood Terrace in Madisonville. She was born Aug. 11, 1908, in McLean County. She retired from General Electric and was a member of Sacramento Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Welby Ellis; a son, Ronnie Ellis; two daughters, Linda Ellis and Suzann Browder; and a son-in-law, Eugene Shanks. Survivors include two sons, Clarence (Marie) Ellis of Sacramento and James Lloyd (Shirley) Ellis of Owensboro; two daughters, Maxine Shanks of Elizabeton, Tenn., and Connie (Jerry) Davis of Madisonville; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with the Rev. J.W. Haire officiating, assisted by the Rev. Tim Roberts.
