GREENVILLE – Matthew Douglas Settle, 37, of Greenville, died Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at 8:21PM at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  Mr. Settle was born March 4, 1986, in Greenville.  He was a truck driver for Southern Wine and Spirits in Louisville.  He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting, and farming, but his grandchildren were his greatest passion and pastime.  He was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Settle.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa McElvain Settle; sons, Andrew (Emely) Settle and Dakota Jones; mother, Carolyn Settle; grandchildren, Camila, Isabella, and Liam; sisters, Melissa (David) Carterwood and Amy Carver; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be Monday, October 30, 2023, at 11:00AM at Memorial Gardens in Powderly.  Burial to follow.  Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.

My deepest sympathy to you all! I worked in the Owensboro office until I retired 2 yrs ago. I spoke with Matt weekly.
