BEECHMONT – Mary Sylvia Simpson, 95 , Beechmont died Friday, June 8, 2012 at the Maple Manor Nursing Home in Greenville, KY. She was born February 26, 1917 in Green County, KY, was a homemaker and a member of the Union Ridge General Baptist Church in Belton, KY. Survivors include her sons, Lee(Diana)Simpson of Belton, Bobby(Katheryn)Simpson of Central City and Larry(Marsha)Simpson of Belton, a daughter, Nora Lynn(Larry)Jenkins of Central City, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and twenty great great grandchildren, a sister, Flossie McAfee of Greensburg, KY. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home in Beechmont, conducted by Rev. Donald McGhee and Rev. Leamon Mefford with burial to follow in the Union Ridge Cemetery in Belton. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday and after 8:00 AM Monday at the funeral home.
