Mary Louise Kyle Newton Mary Louise Kyle Newton, 88, of Thibodaux, La., passed away on May 28, 2010. Our mother was born in Muhlenberg County on Sept. 5, 1921, to Clyde and Beatrice Everly Kyle. Her mother Beatrice passed away when she was 15 months old. She was placed in foster homes until Frank and Emmaline Dunlap took her home to live with them in Cleaton. Mother lived a long and full life, having faith in God and trust in our Lord Jesus Christ. She worked as a secretary for the Social Security Administration in San Francisco, where she retired. Mary and her husband Kenneth moved to Oroville, Calif., where they lived a quiet life in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains for almost 30 years. Mary and Kenneth moved to Thibodaux, La., about nine years ago to be close to her daughter. Mother spent her time being a faithful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed reading, especially her Bible, crocheting and working puzzles. Mother was an active member of University Baptist Church in Thibodaux. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Beatrice Kyle and Frank and Emma Dunlap; husbands Kenneth Newton and Bill Davis; and brothers, Granville Kyle and Conrad Huff. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Forrestier and husband Sidney of Thibodaux; sons Larry Sadler and wife Sue of Sacramento, Nolan Sadler and wife Phyllis of Kevil, Carlos Sadler and wife Joann of Crossville, Tenn., Marvin (Buddy) Holder and wife Carolyn of Tipton, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two nephews; and three nieces. We are so grateful for all the love, support and prayers from her church family at University Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Duck, Cedar Grove Baptist Church family, with Pastor Cody Crowell, Cumberland Worship Center, with Pastor Mark Dufrene, First Baptist Church of Wood Lake with Pastor Marvin (Buddy) Holder. Mother, you will be missed and we know you are alive in the arms of our redeemer, Jesus Christ. Rest well. Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation is after 9 a.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home. Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., is also in charge of arrangements.
