Mary Ellen Mefford CENTRAL CITY — Mary Ellen Mefford of Central City died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Maple Manor in Greenville. She retired from General Electric and was a member of Union Chapel General Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, Roger Fleming; four brothers, Glen Mefford, Owen Mefford, Vernon Mefford and Michael Mefford; and three sisters, Barbara Palmer, Jean Atzinger and Sharon Topmiller. Graveside services: 2 p.m. Friday at Allen’s Chapel Cemetery in Ennis. Tucker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
