Mary Frances McRoy 12/8/2008 CENTRAL CITY — Mary Frances McRoy, 86, of 327 N. Third St., Central City, died at 10 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2008, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. She was born Feb. 18, 1922, in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of Green River Chapel General Baptist Church in Central City. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Bill McRoy; a brother, Bill Hibbs; and a sister, Jane Williams. Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn (John) Culbertson of Greenville, Brenda (David) Crick of Enfield, N.C., and Denise (Don) McCauley of Central City; three grandchildren, Chari (Rocky) Lane, Amy (Rick) Walker and Jill (Stan) Walker; and five great-grandchildren, Ashley Jamison, John Richard Walker, Jacob Walker, Michael Walker and Stephanie Walker. Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with the Rev. John Culbertson officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City.
