Mary Lou Alvarez, 83, of Greenville, died Friday, November 1, 2024, at Greenville Nursing and Rehab in Greenville. Mary was born January 4, 1941, in Midland, KY. She was a member of Cedar Grove Church, and was a homemaker for her family. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Alvarez Sr.; her son, Paul Alvarez; her step-daughter, Donna McKinney; her parents, Henry and Flora Belle Jarvis; her brother, John William Jarvis; and her sister, Hazel Mae Benzel.

Mary is survived by her step-children, Doreen Spencer and Mickee Wheeler; her sisters Lilly Pendley and Barbara Jones; and her brother, Henry David Jarvis.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 4, 2024 at 12P.M. at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Cody Crowell officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday at 10A.M. at the funeral home. Tucker Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
