GREENVILLE – Mary Emma Howard, 93, of Greenville died Saturday, October 7, 2023 at her home under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky.  Born August 5, 1930 in Logan County, the daughter of Raymond Scarbrough and Lona Forgy Scarbrough.  She was proceeded in death by five brothers; RB, James, Elwood, Kenneth and Billy Scarbrough; two sisters, Francis Cobb and Eula Nadine Bivins.  She was a hard worker all her life, working on the farm, in her garden and yard.

She is survived by her son, Thervin Howard of Greenville; a daughter Margaret Howard of Greenville; two brothers, Ernest Scarbrough of Beechmont and Bobby (Guyanna) Scarbrough of Greenville; two sisters, Effie (Jerry) Sears of Clifty and Ruby Burns of Bowling Green.  Several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 9, 2023 at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro JC Lynch officiating.  Burial in Vernal Grove Cemetery in Depoy.  Visitation will be after 10:30AM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com
