GREENVILLE – Mary “Sue” Bethel, 84, of Greenville died Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. Ms. Bethel was born March 2, 1940 in Muhlenberg County. She was a Homemaker and attended the Pentecostal church. She loved going to church. She was a Sunday School teacher. She loved making crafts and selling them at craft shows. She collected antiques, memorabilia, and jewelry. She had a passion for Christmas. She loved traveling, music, clothes, and glamour. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ben Bethel; father, Carlos Sallee; mother, Eunice Collins Sallee; brothers, Artimus Sallee, Franklin Sallee; and sister, Alleen Sallee Brown.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Bethel Winter; son, Tim (DeAndra) Bethel; grandsons, Travis (Stephanie) Bethel, and Kevin Winter; and great-grandchildren, Marlee, and Ben Bethel.

Funeral services will be Friday, February 7, 2025 at 11AM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City with Bro. Louis Embry officiating. Burial in Nebo Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8PM at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
