CENTRAL CITY – Martha Ann Ward Withrow, 93, of Central City, died Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at 7:15PM at her residence.  She was born June 30, 1931, in Earles, Muhlenberg County, KY.  She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Nettie Ward; husband of 46 years, Jerald V. Withrow in 2006; a son, Mitchell Stephen Allen in 1955; step-son, Ronald Joseph Withrow; and sisters and brothers, Erma, Agnes, Corene, Pauline, Faye, Dovie, Theresa, Beatrice, Bessie, Bernice, Ernest, Grover, Kenneth, and Kelly.  She retired from Muhlenberg Community Hospital as an LPN after many years of service.  She was a member of the Central City Church of Christ.  She was active in many volunteer programs in Muhlenberg County and also in Daviess County, volunteering for the Pennyrile Area SCVP and for the Audubon Area.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah (Doug) West of Greenville; step-children, Deborah (Bill) Houston of Florida, Penni (Mike) Cloud of Florida, and Mary Jane Withrow of Central City; grandchildren Kelcey and Marcus West, Robert Sommers, Camillia Herron, Dee Anne, Amy, Reed, Channing, Catherine, Courtney, Chloe, Jennifer, Joseph, Emileigh, Lauren and Ben. Several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her family and church family.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 1, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Mr. Bob Edlin officiating.  Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday after 10:00AM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
