Aunt Patsy, Karen, Patty Belle, Jason, Christina, and Mollie,
I'm not very active on facebook, but just saw this obituary about Mark's passing and my heart just sank. I had really hoped to see Mark at our reunion last summer as it had been so very long since we had gotten to see each other. I will always have those childhood memories of Mark as a gentle soul who truly cared about others and always put them first. I remember him calling me "Fwed" as we both had trouble with "r' early on, and once when my Dad was going to buy us an ice cream cone, Mark offered to do without if there wasn't enough money for everyone--what a big unselfish heart! Mark will be greatly missed, but Heaven is just that much more of a better place...I'm sure my Mom was standing in line to give him a big hug!
Love you all,
Fred
As I read these touching condolences to my sweet brother, I'm reminded of how much he was loved by those who knew him best. He was one of a kind; loyal, and always ready to defend those he loved. He will be missed greatly, and loved always!
Travis, I'm so touched my the amazing tribute you penned, you told his story with truth, honesty, and an insight that few knew.
Mark, you'll be forever in my heart!
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
I am grateful to have met Mark through James. Mark brought a ray of sunshine into my life whenever I got to see him while he was visiting James Sosh. May he be playing a golden guitar, singing with joy while rejoicing with his loved ones, and celebrating his life well lived with our Heavenly Father.
this was not a good man....he was a GREAT man! I have known him , his late wife, and his 2 daughters since I was a little girl. A few years back, I found myself in a hard situation and Mark was there for me in any way he could be because his heart was truly that big!!! I know how much he loved his late wife Barb and take comfort in knowing they have been reunited. I will always have both Barb and Mark in my memories and my heart! Fare thee well Mark....until we all meet again!

Living away from "home" I appreciate the Leader News obituaries. As I read Mr. Troutman's, I must say it touched my soul. It was well written and told his story in a precious way. Sympathy to his family.
Mark, Barbara Darrell, myself, and 5 kids sometime 7 kids spent a lot of time together. Had lots of good times. I miss them days quite of bit. so sorry for the family's loss.
I'M SO VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, MARK WAS A VERY NICE MAN.MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU.
Mark was probably the most unpretentious person I have ever known. He never let his not caring what you thought about him keep him from caring about you.
If you met him, you remember him and if you got to know him you almost certainly liked him. I know I did. We miss you already. -Patrick
The obituary is one of the most compassionate and such a beautiful tribute to a man that loved the natural gifts God gave this world. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
