DRAKESBORO – Marie Chapman, 88, of Drakesboro, died Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 8:20PM at her home.  Mrs. Chapman was born October 13, 1938, in Muhlenberg County.  She was a homemaker and a farmer, and a member of Forest Oak Missionary Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmore and Esther Drake; husband, Eddie Chapman; son, Ronnie Chapman; granddaughter, Kim Chapman; great-grandson, Theo Chapman; and several siblings.

She is survived by her son, Mark (Cara Beth) Chapman; daughter-in-law, Diane Chapman; grandchildren, Jeffery (Rachel) Chapman, TSgt. Jon (Miranda) Chapman, and Justin (Sable) Chapman; great-grandchildren, Katlin Chapman, Tyler Chapman, Collin Chapman, Paisley Chapman, Tim Merculief, Abram Chapman, Elenor Chapman, Vernon Chapman, Meka Chapman, Oaklee Chapman, and Clark Chapman; great-grandchild, Riley Beck; and siblings, Randle (Jo Lynn) Drake, Glen (Joyce) Drake, and Dale (Kathy) Drake.

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 25, 2026, at 1:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Bro. Todd Cartwright officiating.  Burial in Forest Oak Cemetery in Belton.  Visitation will be Sunday after 11:00AM at the funeral home.  Online condolences may be made at www.tuckerfuneralhomes.com.
