I became acquainted with my 2d cousin Margaret, in 2013, through genealogy searches into my (maternal) Bartlett family. I regret not having met her in person, however we did converse several times by telephone and those conversations are treasured memories. Margaret was quite obviously a genuinely warm, friendly person, blessed with many childhood memories and so gracious in sharing them. I am privileged to have known her (if only by phone or e-mail) as well as her daughters who reflect their mother's fine attributes! ~ Jerry Finlayson

I remember my Aunt Jean from when I was a little girl visiting from New York State.. She was a soft spoken woman and very kind-and I loved her red hair! When I got a little older I came down to visit all by myself. She was the picture of hospitality, and still sweet as I remembered, and that she made me feel right at home. The first dinner she cooked for me was some bass that Uncle John had caught. Being an accomplished cook was another one of her fine talents! I will cherish the memories I have of her and look forward to the day I will see her again in a place far more precious than this-that heavenly realm that doesn't fade away!!
