CENTRAL CITY – Mable Louise McDonald Walton, 94, of Central City, died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at 8:05AM at Belle Meade Nursing Home in Greenville. Mrs. Walton was born September 25, 1917 in Muhlenberg County. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Central City. She was an avid quilter and loved reading, gardening, and crafting. She was an active member of DAR since 1981. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Walton; parents R.E. and Callie McDonald; brothers Estil McDonald and Hayden McDonald; and sister Katherine St. John. Survivors include her sister, Imogene Gamblin of Central City, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 1:00PM at Tucker Funeral Home in Central City, with Rev. Bob Lowery officiating. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
