BROWDER – Lou Alice Whitman, 68, of Browder, died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 4:42AM at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. Mrs. Whitman was born November 19, 1944 in Hopkinsville. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband and father of their sons, Larry Pentecost; and her parents, Luther and Jean Elwonger. Survivors include her sons, Timothy (Kim) Pentecost of Madisonville, Donnie (Anglia) Pentecost, Sr. of Browder, and Richie (Dana) Pentecost of Browder; grandchildren Torie (Jesse) McPherson of Central City, Donnie (Kristin) Pentecost Jr. of Louisville, Dustyn (Brittany) Pentecost of Bremen, and Brittney Pentecost of Greenville; great-grandchildren Kensley Faith-Ann and Karsen Isaiah, Pasynn Pentecost, Asher Pentecost, and Aiden Pentecost; brother Lou Elwonger of Florida; and sisters Lorriane Butler of New York, Claudia Elwonger of Virginia, Karen Lewis of North Carolina, Barbara Cassese of Virginia, Carol Ransom of New York, and Sarah Cambers of North Carolina. Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 1:00PM at Tucker Beechmont Funeral Home, with Rev. Darren Pentecost officiating, assisted by Rev. T.H. Davis. Burial in Mud River Union Cemetery.
