SACRAMENTO – Lon W. “Bill” Riley, 88, of Sacramento, died Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 1:58PM at Riverside Care and Rehabilitation. Mr. Riley was born June 10, 1928, in McLean County. He worked in maintenance at Alcoa, and was a member of Station Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Durham Riley; sister Elsia Riley; step-daughter Mary Ann Booth Floyd; and parents Lon and Cynthia Riley. He is survived by his step-daughter, Judy Booth (Gary) Nofsinger of Bowling Green; step-son William York Booth of California; two step-grandsons; one step-granddaughter; brothers Ralph (Sue) Riley of Ohio, Martin C. (Barbara) Riley of Florida, Coy (Odell) Riley of Sacramento, Austin (Pat) Riley of Sacramento, and Joe (Betty) Riley of Sacramento; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 11:00AM at Tucker Memorial Chapel in Sacramento, with Bro. James Watkins officiating, assisted by Bro. Vicky LeGrand.
