CENTRAL CITY – Lloyd “Bea Bea” Williams, 74, of Central City, died Monday, September 25, 2017, at 10:48PM at Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital. Mr. Williams was born February 15, 1943, in Muhlenberg County. He was a shift engineer at Kentucky Utilities, and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Central City, where he served as Chairman of Trustees. He was an avid billiards player. He was a member of Central City Masonic Lodge #673, Central City Lions Club, and was a graduate of Central City High School Class of 1961. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Abby Ann Stovall; father Charles L. Williams; mother Lorena Caudill; and brother Lt. Col. Jesse Rodgers Williams. He is survived by his wife, Linda Williams; daughter Amy (Greg) Luttrell of Central City; grandchildren Macey and Meredith Mayes of Central City; step-grandchildren Will (Brittany) Luttrell, Kristen (Jaron) Porter, and Andrew (Alexis) Luttrell; step-great-grandchild Layton Luttrell; sisters Jane Harreld of Beaver Dam, Margaret Williams of Central City, and Nancy Williams of Central City; sister-in-law Jewell Dean Williams and niece Jennifer (Chris) Luttrell, of Central City; and several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 1:00PM at First United Methodist Church in Central City, with Rev. Tom Eblen officiating. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday after 9:30AM at the church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First United Methodist Church Memorial Fund or Gideons International.
