Lloyd Bennett Wardrip CENTRAL CITY — Lloyd Bennett Wardrip, 85, of Central City died Thursday, May 28, 2009, at Muhlenberg Community Hospital in Greenville. He was a retired coal miner, member of First United Methodist Church in Central City and an Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Zelma Timmins Wardrip; a son, Larry Wardrip; a daughter, Donna Hunt; and a sister, Fern Brown. Services: 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Central City. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery in Central City. Visitation: From 4 to 7 p.m. today at Tucker Funeral Home. Lie in state: After 9 a.m. Saturday at the church.
