Lindell Ray Grace GREENVILLE — Lindell Ray Grace, 72, of 415 Oak View Drive, Greenville, died at 8:07 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2009, at Maple Manor in Greenville. He was born Aug. 1, 1937, in Muhlenberg County. He was a retired field supervisor for Texas Gas Co. and a member of Carters Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Grace and Estelle Tabor; and a brother, Norris Grace. Survivors include his wife, Janice Grace of Greenville; three daughters, Lila Lassiter and husband Danny of Greenville, Lisa Newman and husband Greg of Greenville and Janet Thomas and husband Charlie of Vincennes, Ind.; grandchildren Robert Noffsinger and wife Jennifer, Steven Newman, Heather Lassiter, Zach Thomas and Leah Thomas; sisters Anna Bivins and husband Jimmy and Barbara Jessup and husband David, all of Greenville; and half sisters Karen Hyfield and husband Don of Dannville, Ind., and Kathy Frech and husband Mike of Mooresville, Ind. Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Carters Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Greenville, with the Rev. Donnie Wilkins officiating, assisted by the Rev. Larry Vincent. Burial will be in Carters Creek Cemetery in Greenville. Visitation is after noon Saturday at the church. Mr. Grace will lie in state at the church from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.
