GREENVILLE – Linda Louise Greenwalt, 78, of Greenville, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, February 9, 2025 at 3:15PM. Linda was born January 30, 1947 in Fordsville, KY to the late Clarence and Mary Cernia Marlow. Linda graduated from Daviess County High School in 1964 and went on to attend Owensboro Business College, where she received her business degree. She retired from the Muhlenberg County School System as the Lunchroom Manager in 2004. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Brother E.W. Greenwalt.
She is survived by her four sons, Scott (Jennifer) Greenwalt, Troy Greenwalt, Brian (Barbie) Greenwalt; and Daniel (Melanie) Greenwalt; five grandchildren, Kayleigh (Eric) Rose, Kortney (Cole) West, Cole Greenwalt, Cassie (Canyon) Culbertson, and Owen Greenwalt; two great-grandchildren, Kayson Rose, and Wren West. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy (Randall) Muffet and several nieces and nephews. She was a cherished wife, mother, sister, and “Ninny.” She will be greatly missed.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at 2PM at Woodland Baptist Church in Greenville with Bro. Leroy Rearden officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery.
