Aunt Marie, Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers in this most difficult time. We are sorry we could not come with Hugh (Hoss) to be there with you, Ronnie, Mark, and the rest of the family. I will always remember Uncle Eddie's smile and how welcoming he was to me even before I joined the family. I know that Dot & Aunt Wilma were there to welcome him Home. All our love, Melissa & Savannah

Marie, Ronnie, and Mark, Our prayers are with your family. Eddie always made me feel welcome whenever I was around the Chapman's, Brister's and Drake's. I'll always remember how he would say "Let's go hit a lick on the guitar". He liked to laugh and cut up, which is something we had in common. Eddie is another friend I look forward to seeing again in heaven. May God strengthen all of you at this difficult time. Gene Vaught

I am so sad about this and am sending prayers to all of the family and friends. I am so grateful I got to see him at mom's funeral but terribly sad that I didn't see him more often. It is heartbreaking that he left so suddenly and so close after mom's passing. I was really looking forward to seeing him again for a longer visit in the spring. I am sure Aunt Dorothy and mom welcomed him home.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

We were all stunned into silence upon hearing the news, Marie - and immediately surrounded you, the boys, and grandkids with our prayers. The only way I can see through this, right now, is to be comforted by my memories. If it is at all possible, I know Dot was there to welcome him Home! Anne-Marie recalls feeling special because he referred to her as his 'little princess'....until she learned he called everyone that. I remember how he welcomed me to the family before I could ever feel like an outsider. And his quick smile....and his 'silliness'...and his watching over Dot. These things I most appreciated about him. Dave is still stunned - and broken-hearted. Work, which is incredibly hard to find in his field, this time of year, prevents him from being their for you all 'in the flesh', but wanted to be sure that you knew that he will be there in Spirit, remembering you all - and praying throughout the day! May you all sense His embrace, David & JoAnn Gibson (Michael, Alex, Andrew, and Anne-Marie)
